Kirstie Allsopp Accident – TV Host Rushed to Hospital After Horror Fall on Birthday Trip

Kirstie Allsopp has revealed that she was rushed to hospital after suffering a serious fall during a birthday trip to Devon with her family.

The Location, Location, Location presenter, 55, was celebrating her birthday with her husband, Ben Andersen, and their sons when the getaway took an unexpected turn.

Allsopp said she slipped on a muddy section of a steep path while walking back from Welcombe Mouth. The fall left her requiring emergency medical assistance and a major rescue response.

Air Ambulance Called to the Scene

After the accident, her family and emergency responders worked to get her to medical care. Allsopp said her son Oscar initially ran for help before paramedics from the RNLI Bude Lifeboat and the Cornwall Air Ambulance located her.

She later shared photographs and videos from her hospital stay, including footage of the air ambulance and an image of the injury.

The television presenter described receiving significant pain relief before being transported to hospital, joking about how she must have been difficult to deal with while heavily medicated.

Surgery Following the Fall

Allsopp was treated at Barnstaple Hospital, where doctors operated on her injured leg.

She said the surgery had been completed and that she expected to return home soon. Her recovery will involve wearing a medical boot and using crutches for a period of time.

Despite the frightening circumstances, Allsopp said she felt fortunate that emergency crews were able to locate her and provide treatment quickly.

She also praised the hospital staff and emergency responders who assisted her following the accident.

News of Allsopp’s accident prompted an outpouring of messages from followers, many wishing her a quick and comfortable recovery.
