My name is Rev Raharuhi Koia. I served in the NZDF for 25 years as a Regular Force Army Chaplain. I am also a trained Counsellor and focus on mental health of veterans. Along with Mr Dan Johnson another Kiwi from New Zealand, we both teamed up with Peter to do a presentation on Moral Injury in Canada (Winnipeg) at the 2024 CIMVHR conference. It was such a privilege to meet Peter in person and to work collaboratively raising awareness of Moral Injury. Like many of you, both Dan and I loved the energy Peter brought to our 3 man Team. There is much more to say about Peter and our strong connection but for now Dan and I want to say that we love him and will miss him dearly. May you Kate and family find peace, joy and hope in knowing God’s goodness is always for us even in uncertainty and loss. Reply
