According to the preliminary investigation, her vehicle stopped at the stop sign but failed to yield before entering the intersection. The Mustang was then struck on its passenger side by a southbound Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck driven by Michael Cameron Limbaugh, 31, of Clarkesville.

The collision caused fatal injuries to Aspey. Limbaugh suffered minor injuries and was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment.
