WALHALLA, N.D. — Andrew Mitchell Lee, 27, passed away on August 21, 2026, following an automobile accident. Born January 22, 1999, in Langdon, North Dakota, Andrew was remembered by his family as a loving, adventurous and deeply caring young man whose presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him.

Andrew loved the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing. Family members recalled how easily a short conversation about either could turn into hours of stories and discussion. He also enjoyed bonfires, good music, spending time with friends and family, and playing Xbox with the boys he loved.

He was the middle brother of Courtney, Tristan and Jaden Lee and later became a proud stepbrother to Jordyn, Jagger and Rayce Worley. His family relationships were central to his life, and those who knew him remembered his generosity, affection and willingness to encourage the people around him.

In July 2020, Andrew and Haley Hewitt began their relationship, eventually building a life together in Cavalier before moving to Fergus Falls, Minnesota. They became parents to Wattson, whom Andrew cherished deeply.

Andrew was also surrounded by several extended and “bonus” families whom he loved as his own. His family described him as someone who made sure to give hugs and say “I love you” before leaving, gestures that reflected the sincerity and affection he carried throughout his life.

Andrew is survived by Haley Hewitt; his mother, Jennifer Worley, and bonus father, Josh Worley; his father, Mitchell Lee and Wendy Brusseau; the Hewitt family; his brothers Tristan and Jaden; bonus siblings and numerous relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Courtney Krystyn Lee; bonus aunt Angie Worley Plaine; and his great-grandparents.

A visitation was held Tuesday, August 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Walhalla Lutheran Church. A Celebration of Life followed Wednesday, August 26, at 1 p.m. at the same church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Drayton Fire and Rescue.

Andrew Lee’s family and friends will carry forward the memories of his smile, his love for the outdoors, his loyalty and the affection he showed so freely to those fortunate enough to know him.
