LUTZ, Fla. — Authorities are investigating the deaths of a man and woman who were found inside a Lutz residence Thursday morning in what the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office described as a suspected murder-suicide.

Deputies were dispatched at approximately 10:40 a.m. to a residence in the Cot Road area after receiving a request for a welfare check. When deputies arrived, they discovered an adult man and an adult woman deceased inside the home.

According to preliminary information from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, investigators believe the man shot the woman before fatally shooting himself.

Authorities identified the man as 66-year-old Lyle Fulton. The identity of the woman had not been released in the information provided.
