Mitch Fuller, a cherished member of the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie community, has died, leaving his family, friends and loved ones mourning a deeply painful loss.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mitch, share memories and pay their respects during his funeral service on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The service will be held at Lake Macquarie Memorial Park, 405 Cessnock Road, Ryhope.

Following the funeral, family and friends will have the opportunity to come together for a wake at Wangi District Workers Club, 11–19 Market Street, Wangi Wangi, in the Dobell Room. The gathering will begin at approximately 11:30 a.m.

The arrangements provide an opportunity for those who knew Mitch to come together, share stories and celebrate his life while supporting one another through this difficult period.

For Mitch’s family, the days following his passing have brought profound sadness. At the same time, the gathering will allow loved ones to reflect on the memories, friendships and moments that made Mitch an important part of their lives.
