Grace Zwernemann Accident Caldwell, TX Death-Obituary – Family Seeks Answers Over Missing Aggie Ring After Her Death

The family of Grace Zwernemann, a Texas A&M graduate who died in December 2025, is asking for the public’s help in finding her cherished Aggie ring, which they say disappeared following her death.

Grace was a proud member of the Texas A&M University Class of 2020 and deeply valued the Aggie ring she earned. According to her family, she wore the ring every day and considered it one of her most treasured possessions.

The family says they know the ring was on Grace’s finger when she died. They were also reportedly told that the ring was still with her when she was received by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office.

However, according to the family’s account, the ring was no longer among Grace’s belongings when she arrived at her local funeral home. Instead, a piece of inexpensive costume jewelry was reportedly found on her finger.

The family says the discrepancy occurred sometime during the transfer of Grace between the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office, Austin Mortuary Services and the funeral home.

Her loved ones have expressed their deep distress over the situation and are seeking answers about what happened to the ring.

In their appeal, the family emphasized how meaningful the Aggie ring was to Grace and asked anyone who may have information to come forward.

They say they have attempted to bring wider attention to the situation, including contacting journalist Rusty Surette, but have not yet received a further response after initially providing additional information.

For Grace’s family, recovering the ring is about more than an item of jewelry. It represents a meaningful part of her life, her connection to Texas A&M and a treasured possession she proudly wore.

The family continues to hope that someone with knowledge of what happened will come forward and help return Grace’s Aggie ring to her loved ones.
