Vayda Safee Missing, Orchard Park, NY – Police Seek Public’s Help Finding 13-Year-Old

The Orchard Park community is being asked to help locate 13-year-old Vayda Safee, who was reported missing after leaving her residence for a bike ride.

According to the Town of Orchard Park Police Department, Vayda was last seen at approximately 12:50 p.m. as she left home to ride her bicycle around the Knoche Farm development, near Milestrip Road and Transit Road in Orchard Park.

Vayda is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has brown, shoulder-length hair, which was likely worn in a low ponytail at the time she was last seen.

Police said she was wearing a bright light blue tank top, black shorts, grey Skechers sneakers and coral pink glasses.

She was also riding a baby blue Nishiki bicycle, which police noted is not electric.

Authorities are asking residents in Orchard Park and surrounding areas to remain alert and report any information that could help investigators determine Vayda’s whereabouts.

The circumstances surrounding her disappearance have not been fully released, and there is currently no need to speculate about where she may have gone. Even seemingly minor information could be important to investigators working to locate her and ensure her safety.
